How am I doing?
While I am in the middle of a site redesign, adding more categories, with lists of the my suggestions for the sexiest music videos of each year and genre or region, working on a page listing the artists, adding the names of models when I can, I want to ask you what you think of the site. I like to think that when people first click on this site, their first reaction is "Holy shit! This is what I've been looking for." But let me know what you actually think, and any way I can improve the site.

ReplyDeleteOne thing is I really appreciate when you give a 2-3 sentence description of the video. I'm sure it can get tedious to do that every time but it makes a big difference, to me at least.
I've noticed a ton of videos with the 'Bulgaria' tag - maybe they all are Bulgarian but it seemed possible that there was some kind of auto-tagging mistake. Lastly, go for quality over quantity. I'd much rather you only post 2 really good videos in a week than 8 average ones.

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you like the updates. I generally do not give a description like you are discussing. I could try to do this more. Mostly it's just very repetitive because so many videos are similar. The reason I don't usually do this is that the time it takes to think of something interesting to write about the video would be better spent looking for more videos. I try to help you find the videos you like with the content labels.
DeleteThe "Bulgaria" tag is no mistake. I don't auto-tag anything. That's just how common sexy videos from Bulgaria are. Since about the year 2000, there have been a bunch of Bulgarian artists making several music videos each every year, and they sell music with sex in ways that would make American pop singers blush.
Regarding quality vs. quantity, this is an issue that I have spent some time thinking about while working on this website. What I decided is to post anything that meets a minimum standard of sexiness, but then use the "Sexiest of..." labels to indicate when they are must-see, very sexy videos. If I only posted the sexiest videos, I would lose track of the other videos that I might want to go back and watch in the future, and something that I consider a little less sexy might be the favorite video of someone else.

ReplyDeleteThanks! The video you're asking about is "Bad Things" by Chelsea Bishop, also my favorite sexy video from 2012, and she's a sweetheart too based on my interactions with her on Twitter. (Sadly her Twitter account appears to have been recently deleted.) I'll make a post with the names of all of the videos I use on the banner.
